but in later memories
Quote from: ChoChangHP118 on July 25, 2007, 10:19:50 AM

i absolutly loved snape's memory's! i'm glad that james and lily ended up together instead of snape cuz snape didn't have a problem with calling people m**blood. and that would've been a problem.

But in a later memory, when Phineas said "mudblood", Snape was like, "Do not use that word!"
This makes me think that ever after that incident of calling Lily a mudblood and then losing her, Snape never ever used that word again. I wish with all my heart that Snape and Lily was together. She didn't want to marry him 'cause of his associations with the Dark Arts, right? But now that he's given up the Dark Arts for her, and did everything he could to help her son, Lily should ditch James in the afterlife and marry Snape ;D

na uh. Remember how Marvolo Riddle (Voldy's grandpa) said how his ring bears the "Perevell Coat of Arms" (which is really the Deathly Hallows symbol) and that he's a direct descendent?

Book 7 Discussion / Harry and Voldemort (SPOILER)
July 24, 2007, 11:16:47 AM
Harry and Voldemort both descended from the Perevell brothers. Harry the third one, Ignotus, and Voldemort the second one, who made the Resurrection stone. Therefore, that makes them cousins, a million times removed. XDDDDD

first of all, i was kinda amused that Harry started using Unforgivable curses, even more so when McGonagall used the Imperius curse. I know it's a war, but it's still funny to see the "good guys" use those spells.
Most of all though, this book has made Severus Snape my favorite character. I infinitely prefer him to the bully toerag James, and I thought Lily should've married him instead. Losing him was like losing someone I knew. None of the other deaths in the books hit me as much as him, because nobody in the book suffered as much as he did. "Prince's Tale" was the saddest chapter of my life.
I don't like Dumbledore as much as I use to, not because of the things he did as a teenager, but because he was so cold to Snape.
"Look...at...me..." is the saddest line ever.

I LOVE SEVERUS SNAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY FAV CHARACTER EVER CREATED (after Jack Sparrow)!!!!!!! I nearly burst out crying when reading his memories of Lily and him...and when Harry named his kid after him...

also, I was really disappointed when Bellatrix said, "Avada Kedavara" to kill Sirius in the movie. In the book JK didn't specify what colour the spell was, so i had secretly harboured hopes that Sirius might still be alive... :( oh well....

but JK was reluctant to confirm Sirius's death, so maybe falling through that arch traps him in limbo between life and death or something...

Let's do funny last sentences too! I'll start

"Harry danced a jig, but then tripped and fell, and acquired yet another scar."

OMG YOU HAVE JUST RUINED MY WHOLE LIFE'S PURPOSE!!!! I think i'll go jump off a cliff now!!!! if you think you're ruining people's lives by posting spoilers which are obviously fake, then you're stupid as well as malicious. btw, i have read more books than you probably ever will in your life.

"not my daughter you pregnant dog"???? wow you can come up with a better sentence than that

he might die...but i'm pretty sure he's not a horcrux...why the heck would voldemort make someone he's trying to kill a horcrux???
i think Harry is definitely a descendent of Godric Gryfindor...it's fitting too, Slytherin's descendent against Gryfindor's descendent

yeah that is entirely possible, however i really do not think that Petunia loved Lily. I think she truly hated her, why else was she so vehement when Hagrid mentioned Harry's parents in the first book? and why would she make Harry live in a cupboard if she truly loved Harry's mother?

very good...except V0ldemort COULD sense muggles...that's how he knew that Frank was there in the beginning of the Goblet of Fire...and Voldy doesn't seem like the kind of person who would leave people alive if he knew they witnessed something...

Harry Potter Books / Re: Snape?!

WOW that makes so much sense...especially the DADA teaching post one and how Dumbledore is pleading for Snape to save Harry. Thanks!

I used to hate Snape...but now I actually kinda like him. He's had a horrible childhood, with his parents fighting, and James bullying him. And he would have to be really brave and clever to be a double agent...at the end when he shouted "DON't CALL ME COWARD" I really felt sorry for him, and that partly convinced me that he's not evil.
I think it's really a shame that Harry is determined to hate Snape.

SNAPE IS GOOD
Dumbledore isn't afraid to die, remember how he said "to a well organized mind, death is the next great adventure", in the first book? so Snape making the Unbreakable Vow could all be a part of the plan since Dumbledore wanted to die anyway. Dumbledore isn't begging for Snape to spare him when he said "Severus...please" at the end, because he certainly would not be the kind of person to beg for his life.
