~~Lost one always is,
For true ending is hard to find.
What I would not give,
For a security that could be mine.

Confusion and wonder,
Taking one asunder,
Misleadings and misjudgments,
From a gentle hue to a torrent.

Becoming lost,
Becoming found,
But with the cost,
It hurts to be proud.

I hurt and I bleed,
What I want is never what I need,
When I breath it is my last,
Life is escaping far too fast.

My care is run thin,
Taken far too soon,
Dreaming is my only whim,
But to awakening always, I am doomed.~~

- Sang out Lavender's mental voice.

The voice, though gentle and quiet and seemingly sensitive, was bold and powerful and zealous, with a soft purr to the tones. Perhaps the purr, was the effect of the configuration of the feminine beauty of whom the voice belonged to; the little onyx colored, furry kitten seated upon her hindquarters, at the feet of a great sized, though wobbly, worn table. Head tilted to the side, the kitten's quaint little eyes squinted and peered at the passer-buyers from beneath the curtain of white sheet, many shades of striking greens and hints of coal.
She mewed softly, the tone reflective to the purity of the voice that had sung to herself, not by word of mouth, but by constricted thought. She kneaded her minute paws onto the stone ground near the feet of a few, and seemed to smile, her tail flopping about, her nose wrinkling at the grungy smell of the slippery floor.

The kitten turned her head in direction of a male, and a mew-ish hiss came about her little chest in soft regard; a rough spark in the haunted eyes. She scuttled back farther beneath the tablecloth, until the sheet lay layered at her furry ears, concealing the rest of her little body, her bottom against the foot of the table leg, her tail coiling nervously about it. The white speckled nose{the little area of which alone, beside her eyes, held color other than black} waggling in distaste.

Lavender grew tired of the itchy tablecloth and scampered out from it, prancing about the feet of many a travelers. It was not until her front baby paw was stepped upon, that she grew distasteful of that, and made her way back to the table, limping slightly, her tail limp and no longer perky.

LavyBrown

Lavy walked in and saw the kitten walking back to the table. "What the...." she walked over to the kitten.

Lavender, thinking herself about to be tromped on again, sprung up and bounced in a 180 degree angle, facing her 'attacker', ears utterly flat, tail a stiff spike, her nose pouty. It was a moment before there was recognition there, and all was relaxed about her, save the spunkiness in her movements.
She 'mrrowwed' and slumped her front paws far foreword, stretching, her tail beginning a soft wag.

Ginny Weasly

Ginny came in and looked around. She saw Lavy and walked over.
"I thought I sensed Lavan-" She spotted the kitten and smiled.
"Oh, there you are."

There was a sharp 'mrow' that emerged from the little black furball's throat, as she trotted to the two and scratched at their shoe-laces, rolling to her back and flipping around, the end of a string in her small, though sharp teeth. She tugged playfully, undoing the bow of Ginny's shoe.
She grew tired quickly though, oddly, and curled up between their shoes, her chin set upon Ginny's shoe, the string still locked about in her canines. She purred and draped a small, furry arm across the laces, silent in weary thoughts.

Ginny Weasly

Ginny laughed and pulled her foot up slowly, dragging Lavander along with it. She picked Lavander up and pet her head.
"Now I'm gonna trip thanks to you!" She said, smiling.

The green eyed kitten wagged her tail a little more furiously, her entire backside swinging with it. She mewed quietly, grinning in that cattish way. She swatted at a loose strand of Ginny's hair for a moment, then fell limp in Ginny's hands, her baby-like mouth widening in a great, long yawn..

"She's funny." Ginny said, now holding Lavander.

The black furball wrinkled her nose in a mock-snooty way, and leaped from Ginn'ys arms, walking away, her tail pointed and perky, her wide waddling steps arrogant and cheeky.
She turned her head and pulled her whiskered lips up in a ferocious grin, with a short 'Mrow', continuing in her steps. After a look of utter silliness, she turned and was about to continue on, when the side of the boot of a male passed by her, swatting her nose, and whipping her around, sending her to plop to her backside.
He'd kicked her!

Lavender mewed and scampered, galloped, more like, to hide behind the shoes of Ginny's feet, her head just barely peeking out from behind them, her paw dashing across her nose once or twice, her ears flat and grumpy - kittenish, skitterish.
