lol I have like an 107% and I've only been in school I month. But taht's cause almost everyone in my hour are comlet dumbows so I answer everything. Oh and by the way Neo have fun at college next year you better talk to me when your there or you will have a very angry 9th greader annoying the crap out of you ;D

Ehhh...I have a bad grade in English................79 I think. It's only cause I hate doing Vocabulary. Hey, I took those Progress tests, I know I have a vocabulary of a colladge student, I just think it's stupid to teach a bunch of kids who have no intention of ever using them, big, complicated (well, not complicated) words.

Ginny, its good to teach kids the big words because the hope is that by exposing them to bigger, more complicated words when they are younger, they will be able to grasp more complicated concepts as they enter into High School and College. It is almost impossible to be taken seriously in an academic discussion of ideas if you have the vocabulary of a 7th grader when you are in 12th grade; your vocabulary is expected to increase as you move up in school, so it does actually make sense.
