The carriage whisked the two girls away towards Hogsmead, leaving Draco and Harry standing with only a few other students still yet to have left as they waited on the final carriage to make its way through the winding path up to them.

"So, if there was nothing between you two, then why stick up for her then Draco."  Harry sneered at him, the onlookers that remained waiting for the reply, each one seemed absolutely intent on how this was to turn out.

However, Draco never got his chance to say a thing, Harry had hopped into the carriage along with the last few stragglers and shut the door firmly on Draco, leaving him to stand, glaring at him as they left.

"Well, that was the last carriage."  Draco sighed.  "Guess I'm walking."  He said to no one and began moving, there was absolutely no way he was leaving  Sandra at Hogsmead with Harry about, alone.

In the Carriage, Sandra had finally let her tears fall down her cheeks in an almost silent despair.  Ella laid her arm over her shoulders and her head next to Sandra's.  "Go ahead, cry, but did you see that?  I mean, what did I tell you Sandi, Draco will take care of it, you just wait and see."  She told her as they bumped and jogged along the beaten path.

"Yes, but I don't understand why Harry has to be like that, I mean, now everyone thinks..."  She cried again.  "And Herminone, I thought..."

"Herminone is Harry's best friend, aside from Ron, of course they are going to believe what ever it is that jerk says Sandi!"

"I guess..."  She replied and then with a great intake of breath, she straightened herself up and looked down at Ella and kissed her on the forehead.  "Thanks Ell...maybe today won't be so bad after all."  She said, though Ella knew Sandi was just trying to show her strong side.
