J.K.R Writing a new book!??
This is true, J.K.R. was spotted in a cafe in Edinburgh, Scotland writing a detective novel.  This part is great, that she hasn't given up writing, but does this mean no more Harry Potter Books??  In an interveiw with the Press, she beleived that there would be no more Harry Potter books, but that she would write other books.  She said(and I quote) *I'll do exactly what I did with the Harry Potter  books and write what I want to write.*

But really how could she stop Harry Potters??? And then move on??? Harry Potter is sweeping the nation your not saying she's just stopping the fenominon?? Are you?

Thank you for your comment, and yes I am saying that she is stopping the fenominon, because she had the entire series planned out before she even started writing them, and so when she came to the ending, she stopped. But she will continue to make new series, and because of how famous her name is now the other books that she writes, will become almst instantly popular.

Jim Dale turns 72!!
Jim Dale, the voice for Harry Potter tapes, turned 72 on August 15.  He was Born in Rothwell, England.  Happy Birthday Jim!

Harry Potter and the Butter Statue
At the Des Moines, Iowa State fair, Harry potter stands proud and tall....in butter.Harry Potter was sculpted in butter, and he has his wand, and his glasses of course for no butter statue of Harry would be complete without them.

Harry Potter Game!

On Friday EA Games announced that Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix Game is now available for Mac users (like me!).  It is one of the first four Games ever made from EA Games for Mac users.(feel free to run and scream for joy.)

That is cool but you'd think that they'd make more games that would work with Macs. Tjey are pretty popular.

Fraud Harry Potter books taken in India

Yesterday, in Calcutta, India, Detectives found and took over 250 copies of the famous Harry Potter series.  Just about all of them were copies of the latest Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.  Two people have been arrested, and so I would say, that all is just swell in the Harry Potter world.....

An Honor from Edinburg...
J.K. Rowling is going to get an official honor from the city of Edinburg(it's in Scotland).  And there is the possibility that a street may be named after her.  Currently there isn't any mark of her ever being there, other than a small plaque outside of the cafe where she wrote part of her first book.(Talk about a kodak moment!!(with the plaque i mean))

Copied versions of Harry Potter are now available in Cuba, and can be for just a few cents!!For roughly a quarter, you can rent Harry Potter and the order of the pheonix, for one night.  And if that weren't enough, your magical friend speaks spanish.
