I don't think age diffrences like that matter much.

I once dated a guy a year younger than me. He was sucha sweetie. He really cared about me. Sadly, I didn't feel the same way, so I ended it. But he was a sweetheart.

But, when your are 14 dating an 18 year old, you both need shot. Even 16-18 is pushing the limit.
