*Sirius looked out of the corner of his eye to Voldemort.* one thing your forgetting... *Sirius was an amazing legalmens and occlumens so he focused now to block Voldemort from seeig his thoughts.* is that i can't die because of Dumbldore's protection. *Sirius wasnt particularly positive. he wasnt sure how much energy he actually needed to make the charm work...but he was willing to try.*

Snape was breathing rather hard by this point as he reached for the wand.

*Sirius swallowed the lump in his throat even though his throat was very dry. he watched as Snape reached for his wand, raising his right hand in the air.* now...uh...Snape you don't need to do that now do you? i mean, come on....*he stepped back slightly still looking at the wand.* come on buddy...please don't.

Snape finally spoke, now holding the wand in his hand. "Buddy? Now,Sirius,you act as if you actually like me or something. Although, you and I both know you were insulting me and harming me earlier. Why the sudden change of heart," he sneered, rather angrily.

*Sirius smirked at himself.* i was thinking the same thing. but people say that when faced with death you will do anything to live. i always said i wouldn't plead like that, that i would be strong and brave. *he shrugged, placing his right hand on his right knee, still steadying himself with his left hand on the wall.* i guess you never know what you do until that moment happens.

"Ahh..so, now that you've admitted you're liar, you still expect me to save you?  I dont think so" Snape said, angrily, as he held his wand in the ready position.

Snape, you don't want to do that. think of Dumbledore down the hall, think of what James did for you when i admit i wanted you to meet Lupin in the shreaking shack. but oh no, James had to be the git that he is and save you. why? not because he liked you, no he called you Snivellus for Christ sake! but no, he did it because he actually had a heart for once. now cant you have one to...please?

"Surely you're not expecting me to feel bad! You've already admitted to just wanting to save your own skin!" Snape said loudly.

*Sirius sighed and looked at Snape secretly he had a plan.* i'll do anything. honestly. whatever you want.

"Now, now Sirius...you mustn't think that.... anything, you say?" Snape said, sounding rather intersted in this offer.

*Sirius thought for a moment.* anything that has to do with escaping death i'll do...*he paused.* unless it involves Sarah or any of my friends. if it does, i'd rather die.
