Jessie stood up. The murmers slowly died down and she began to speak.

*Fellow members of the student council, I know we are from different houses, but as at all other meetings, let's put aside our differences, and focus on the task at hand.* She glanced at a Slytherin and Gryffindor who were fiercely glaring at each other. *Now, as we all know Christmas is in two weeks. We will be having a celebration of some sort. Now, do we want to have it on Christmas day, or Christmas Eve.*

Jessie was the President of student council, and very proud. She held meetings very often, at least once a week. THere were members from every house. Approxamatley 20 members in all.

Albus was sitting next too Jessie.
He was next foreman. He looked at the others for some ideas.
It was dead. " Well i think Christmas day is good!" Albus said.

Sarah normally sat in the back and did not say anything but today she decided to say what she thought.

"Or Jessie like you so kindly siad we all need to focus on the task at hand." Sarah looked around.

"In the spirt of Chistmas why don't we have it like the 7th. I mean that is two days before all those who are going to go home go. This gives them time to come to and not just those who either don't get to go home or choose to stay here." Sarah looked at everyone.

"I mean how many of us in this room are going to stay. I mean I am but what about the others." Sarah then sat back down.

Jessie looked down at the calendar before her. *Sarah, that's a wonderful idea, but, it's already the 10th so it may not work out... But maybe we could have it on the 28th so that people can come back. I also want to consider a New Years party...* Jessie said looking around for more ideas.

Sarah smiled and sat back.

"That might work." Sarah normally only talked during these meeting to bring Ideas that no one else could think of.

" Then we could split this council into two. One group is in charge of the Christmas party and the other group for the other party!" Albus said and looked over everyone.
It was wery quiet.

Sarah sat back and waited. She was thinking of what she could do so that she could get this over with.

"Well I think this should be a great party."

" Well... we need someone to have the decoratings...." Albus said and found himself a notebook.
" who want to be in charge for decorating?"Albus asked and made more points that they were gonna do

Jessie said *Ok, Sarah you can draw up what the decorations will look like. I will take care of music... Albus why don't you cover making sure that everyone knows about it. Uhm.....* Jessie looked around the room. * Who wants to make the flyers?*

Sarah looked up at her. "I can do the flyers to if you get me some help on decorations."

And the telling people abaut it would i easily do! Albus thought too Jessie.
