I've been a little irritable around this site...

Mainly because there's some people who don't know how to use punctuation.
You guys might be able to understand your RPs because you guys all use "Chatspeak" or whatever today to save some time.

But... I'm starting to have some troubles.
I know it's time saving to write without punctuation or the correct tense of words, but it helps just to take a little bit of time.
It helps a lot more.
And use words that exist.

I ran across a word recently : "mu."
I, myself, don't know what the hell that means.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't the mooing of a cow.

Just small stuff like from:
*he walked through the forest* hi al how are you?

I mean... wtf?
He was just taking a walk through the forest.
Sure, Al was there, but you can't at least say:
He was walking through the forest when he spotted Al.
"Hey Al!" he said, approaching him.

Just saying.
Sometimes there's stuff in here that takes me 2 or 3 times to read over just to understand what the person meant.



And just for those who don't know...
They're = They Are.
There = Indicating a place. [[ i.e. "He's over there." ]]
Their = Indicating ownership of a person or multiple people.

I can agree, and with a passion - chatspeak is NOT for the RolePlaying realm. Want to chatspeak? That's fine - just keep it in the general-chat boards.
