Jessie swam after them kicking strongly and catching up pretty quick. She thought to them ~This will be fun! Maybe we can drink mermaid tea!~

Jessie jumped (at least as much as you can in the water...) and said in a shaky voice *It's Jessie and Billie and we just wanted to come and say hello to the merfolk!*

"Humans... were normal people and I've never seen a merperson before and Jessie said that there where some out in the lake so we thought we would come and try and talk to one" Billie said standing by Jessie with no shakiness to her voice.

*Humans! Wait here, and if you leave... we'll find you* The man said before turning and swimming back into the seaweed.

Jessie looked at Billie before swimming towards the voice.

Billie looked at her then glanced at where the gaurd disappeared at and followed Jessie. *what are you doing he said to stay there*

*Shh... stay quiet, but when you get in the city, take an immediate right, I'm the first house on the left!* And then the voice, and whoever it belonged to, were gone.

*Sorry Billie, but did you here that? Someone wants to meet us!* Jessie said swimming back towards where the guard had told them to wait.

*I think we might as well, because I've got my wand, and I assume you have yours so we should be able to fight them off... besides they sounded like they really wanted to see us! I can't imagine why though* They were cut off short as the guard came back.

*Alright, you can come in. Don't think about doing anything stupid though, because we all swim faster than both of you put together.* The guard grumbled.

Jessie followed billie, but poked her in the arm when it was time for them to turn. She arrived in front of a small hut thing. She shrugged at Billie and went to knock on the door. But before she could actually knock the door opened slightly to reveal the head of a small old mermaid the glanced nervously around before beckoning them inside.
