Alexandra nodded quickly closing her eyes and focussing on Sirius's mind. Dad, can you hear me?

Sirius sighed, putting his quil down he responded in his head. Yes, what's up baby?

Would it be possible for you to go to Hogwarts and meet James and myself at your and mom's tree?

Sure, is something wrong? Sirius asked her standing up from his desk. "I'll be back in an hour Mrs. Thornsberry." He said to his assistant before apparating to Hogsmeade.

No dad. Alexandra said, rubbing her head. She still wasn't used to the headaches that came from telepathy.

She turned to James and nodded. "He's coming."

JAmes looked at him. "Where are we going to meet him." James was wanting to talk to his dad. He need to know what was going on.

Alexandra began walking up the dungeon stairs as she spoke. "Outside next to his and mom's tree." They reached the great hall and she quickly opened the big doors and headed towards the lake.

"okay well lets get going now." James then took off running. He wanted to hurry and get this over with.

Alex saw James running with his older sister towards the lake. He threw on his invisibility cloak and stalked them.

Sirius quickly walked to the tree, reaching it before he could even see Alexandra and James's heads of the hill. He leaned against the tree, waiting.

Alexandra reached the tree a minute later and walked up to hug her dad. "Hey thanks for coming dad. Sorry if we interrupted."

"Oh nonsense, if you would have interrupted I wouldn't have come," He smiled hugging his little angel back. "How's my little girl?" He asked peering down at her although her height made her only about a head shorter then him.

"I'm good but James has some stuff he wanted to ask you. James?" Alexandra asked turning behind her to see if James had come yet.

Alex followed Alexandra and saw James' father. James needs to ask his father.....about what? He thought to himself.

"okay dad. When I tell you this you have to tell the truth. If I find out you lied to me I am leaving the family. I mean I don't know where I will go but I'm not going home." JAmes wanted to make sure his dad understood that he wanted to turth.

"I heard from some sorce that. Well they person that the mistiry said had been the only one to attack gringotts and get away besides voldemort. Plus to master the Curcio curse. Well I heard that was mom." James then looked at his dad.

"Is that ture."

Alex bit the sides of his cheek from saying anything out loud. He couldn't believe it! His friend really didn't believe him at all!

Alexandra stared at her father, hoping it was incorrect, but having a hunch it was right.

Sirius looked from his son, to his daughter, then back to his son. After a moment of thinking it through, his jaw clenched tight shut, he opened his mouth ready to speak.

He closed it, pausing, and staring some more into the eyes of his children. He opened his mouth again, ready to speak before closing it. He rubbed his face with both his hands before inhaling loudly. He closed his eyes and opened his mouth saying five simple words that meant so much.

"What you heard is true."

James stood there in shock. He was not even sure what to say. He then looked at his feet. "Why did you not tell us. I mean we do have the right to know."

JAmes wanted to run but his feet would not move.

Alexandra kept her eyes on the ground not knowing which emotions to feel.

Sirius stared only at James now because Alexandra was unwilling to look at him. "Look, what you both need to understand is this." He paused, taking his hand and placing it on Alexandra's chin, lifting it up so she looked at him in the eyes. He placed his hand on her shoulder, and the other on James's so there shoulders touched together. He kept his hands there as he spoke. "Your mother and myself have secrets that you couldn't begin to understand until you're older. Some secrets are meant to be kept hidden, especially ones that your mother feels most ashamed of. I'm sorry you had to find out this way, we were going to try and make it so you never had to find out. Who told you anyway?"
