Mira's going away party

*Kind of both...* Leah replied truthfully.  She looked at all the stars and said, *It's beautiful isn't it?*

Sky smiled too. "Really? Well..if I can get a hold of a Guitar this week or so, I'll play you something."

"Sky, how about a song now?"  Jackie offered as she held up a mini guitar that started growing in her hands until it was regukarly sized.

*Wait... Sky, you play guitar? Since when!* Leah said, sitting up in surprise.

[Sky]

Ske smiled modestly. "Well...my father knew guitar and started to teach me when I was five. He used to play while my mother sung me lullabyes." She took the guitar slowly and positioned it. "So after they died, I taught myself. But it's been so long now. I hope I remember her song...." She started to play a light tune that had a bit of a dreamy sound to it.

"Sleep my little angel. I'll watch over you. The monsters cannot hurt you, with me standing here beside you. Don't shed a tear, theres nothing to be afraid of. Dream of happy things and remember my love."

Sky attempted to sing. Once she finished the words she played the same tune again. The lullabye was passed down from her mother's mother. It seemed a little cheesy, but always helped Sky fall asleep.

"Oh, Sky thats beautiful!"  Exclaimed Jackie.  She began to hum the exact tune to herself.  "My mom sang a song to me when I was a kid."  Jackie began to sing.

Dancing Bears, painted wings, these I almost remember.  And a song someone sings once upon a December.  Someone holds me safe and warm, horses dance through a silver storm, figures dancing gracefully across my memories!

"Theres more but you probably don't want to hear it."

Sky smiled. "Go ahead." She played a tune to go along with it. "Sing." She said with a warmer smile. She felt really relaxed playing these songs. It was as if her parents were sitting there infront of her now, the exact image Sky remembered from so many years ago.

Alex listened to Sky's and Jackie's singing silently smiling to himself.

((We're on the roof! And wow mira that's the song from Anastasia!  Sorry if this song stinks, but it's hard to think of a lullabye when you're listening to heavy metal!))


Leah smiled and swayed to the sound. *My mom sang me a lullabye too...* She said mostly to herself, humming the familiar tune to herself.  *I just hope I can remember the words....*

Sleep softly my darling, don't you catch a chill.  My voice will keep you safe, these blankets keep you warm.  Even when I'm gone, you and your teddies carry on....on and on and on....  She continued humming the tune, swaying softly back and forth.

Sky laughed lightly to herself as she played. "I guess...our mothers all sang us songs when we were young huh?" She blinked her eyes to avoid tears. But they weren't sad tears. They were tears of happiness.

"Sky, whats wrong?"  Jackie said, although by looking at Sky's face she could tell nothing was wrong.  ((Jackie has a talent for looking at people's faces and being able to read their emotions))

*Who's mom hasn't sung to them when they were babies!* Jessie said laughing.

Sky shook her head. "It's nothing. Really." She said to Jackie. She handed her back her guitar and smiled at them.

"Ok."  Jackie said as the guitar began to shrink again and she put it in her pocket.

Pete smiled as he listened to them sing. "Your really good Sky" he said

"Thanks Pete.." Sky smiled at him.
