Nate took off his thick black shirt from his sticky skin and stared up into the sun. The sun was bright as ever and the rays were killing his back. He blew at his dark hair, getting it out of his face and braced himself to jump off the dry bridge and into the cool blue water. As he dived in, making a perfect dive he made a big splash, spraying up into his face as he came back to the surface of the water.

Stacey was just walking around and saw someone dive into the Lake. ((I`m assuming you`re in the Lake because that`s the only body of water at Hogwarts))She walked over and sat down at the edge of the water, waiting for the person to surface.

As nate came to the surface he felt as if someone was watching him. with his black hair no plastered to his face he turned around to see a girl looking at him. He swam closer to get a better view until his feet were barely touching the ground. He put on a bright smile and said,"Hey," to the girl he couldnt figure out was.

"Hi." Stacey replied. "I haven`t seen you around here very often. Are you new?" She asked. Her eyes where a bright blue that reflected the sunlight.

He smiled shyly,"Nah, i just kinda keep to myself alot of the time." "Im nate and you are?"

"Stacey." She answered sweetly. "What year are you?"

(is it bad that i dont remember how long ive been here?)

He smiled at her. His face blushing, Well hell stop acting like a freak, he thought to himself. He looked into her eyes,"Um.. about my third. What about you?"

Stacey smiled. "Third. I`m thirteen. I can use your powers. And many other guys are chasing me the same way you are." She answered, reveling what she knew.

(ha yeah... my internet stoped working for 3 months and then once i got it back, i kinda stopped goin on here.)

Nate shook his head trying to stop getting distracted by stacy. He only heard part of what she had said so he just smiled a bit and said,"Thats cool. Im just a wizard and..." he paused wondering if he would scare her if she knew he was an vampire, he decided not to say the next part.

Stacey looked at Nate curiuosly. "And...?" She asked. Whatever he said couldn`t be that bad.

He shuffled his position and looked into Staceys eyes seriously," Im..uh a vampire. I mean you probably have friends that are vamps but i just..tricky subject is all." He said the ending in more like a mumble.

"I guess I don`t see why. Why it`s a tricky subject I mean." Stacey said. "Yea, I have quite a few vamp friends." She added. "Isn`t the water cold?"

He smiled," Nope, well...kinda..just depends."

"Depends on what?" She asked, swirling her hand in the cool water.

[nate]

"It depends on you really. I mean ifthe water is cold..and all," he said feeling a little confused.
