He looked at her innocently feeling his mind explode with a burst of happiness. He smiled and then said,"Thanks...now what did you want to tell me?"

Stacye`s eyes fell a darker shade of blue. "Oh, nevermind. It was nothing." She said in a soothing voice.

Nate looked at her sadly,"You will never tell me..."

Stacey looked up into his eyess, her own a miserable shade of dark blue. There were tears in her eyes and her voice shook as she spoke. "I wish I could."

Nate looked up her with sad eyes and said smoothly,"Why cant you? You know you can trust me and i promise i wont get mad?" He then slightly whispered slightly said,"Promise."

"I just don`t want to hurt you." Stacey replied quietly.

Nate sighed," The only thing hurting me right now is that you wont tell me because your afraid of my reaction and how id feel."

Stacey hated how Nate could read her so well. "Yes, but I also don`t want to say it beacause it means the end."

His face began to turn a light pink,"Yeah well how bad is it?" He asked innocently.

"Bad." Stacey said quietly.

Nate sighed,"d**n...i..i may not know what it is but i really think you should just tell me..."

Stacey looked down at the ground. "I`m sorry." She whispereed. "But we can`t be together."

He slid his head down and looked down at his shoes. Then he took a deep breath and said sadly,"Okay...at least you know how i feel about you..." He shuffled his feet uncomfortably.

Stacey gently put her hand on Nate`s shoulder. "I know." She whispered.

Nate shrugged her arm off of him, feeling awkward. As if a break up wasnt enough, he still had feelings for her."No, just leave me alone," he said sharply.
