"Nothing." Stacey said, pulling him to a stop. "Did you tell him?" She asked, now whispering. Her eyes were bright green and full of anxiety.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden looked at Stacey.  He smiled reassuringly.  "Yes.  I did.  I told him everything, and he didn't seem to mind that much.  As long as your happy."  He said, not getting into all the little details.

Stacey smiled. "Good." She stepped closer to him and wrapped her arms around his waist in a hug. "I told my mom." She whispered.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden put one hand on her arm.  "You did?  What did she say?"  He asked.  He now understand the change in her mother's attitude towards him.

Stacey pursed her lips into a smile. "You`d be really surprised. After I told her she looked at me like she wanted to murder someone. Then she smiled and started talking about decorations." She could hear her parents` muffled voices from the other room, probably talking about the news.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden looked toward the other room.  He had a feel that he knew what they were discussing.  "So, do you think she approves then?"  He asked anxiously.

"Yes." Stacey answered after a moment. The muted talking stopped and Stacey lightly kissed Aiden before disappearing to the refridgerator. "Are you hungry?" She asked to Aiden as her parents walked in.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.

Aiden

Aiden smiled in relief, and as she kissed him.  "A little.  But I can wait if you want."  He answered as her parents approached them.

Stacey rolled her eyes and tossed an apple at Aiden; she hoped he would catch it. She smiled as her parents came closer. "Hello." She said, taking out an apple for herself. Her ring glittered on her left hand.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

Aiden

He caught the apple easily.  Aiden took a small bite of it, and leaned against the side of the counter.  He looked at Stacey's ring, and smiled a little before taking another bite of the apple.

Stacey stood next to Aiden and leaned on the counter, taking a small bite of her apple.

James tilted his head as he saw them. He, for the first time, saw her ring. "We`d better get going soon if we`re going to make it there on time."

Aiden

Aiden nodded.  He took another bite of his apple.  He took Stacey's hand, and leaned up off of the counter.

Staceys stood up straight and followed her parents back out to the garage. They all got in the red Mercedes, Stacey and Aiden together in the backseat. She gently squeezed his hand.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

Aiden

Aiden rubbed her hand with his other one.  He put his seatbelt on, and looked out the window for a moment as they backed out.

Stacey smiled. Lights passed as they drove. The buildings began looking bigger and more expensive. They had only been driving a few minutes when they stopped outside a large building with black iron gates and balconies.

"Come on!" Stacey exclaimed excitedly. She pulled Aiden out of the car and took out a big black bag with a hanger on the top. She smiled at Aiden and rushed past him. "See you at six." She said.

Carrie grabbed another bag and hurried after Stacey.

James made his way to Aiden. He carefully took out another bag, leaving one left. "Come on." He said with a large smile, slowly walking towards the door.
