Leah took the X-ray gently from his hand.  "Yes that seems more like it.  When I felt it, I didn't think there was anything wrong with it."  She said, handing the sheet back to him. "Now let's have a look at her spine."

The doctor carefully turned the girl onto her back and gently pushed her shirt up, showing the purple and black bruise.

((Haha when I first read that I thought it said skirt and I was like, "naughty doctor!"))

Leah looked at the bruise and then up at the doctor.  Her hand hovered by the bruise as she asked, "May I?"

The doctor wrinkled his brow. "May you what?"

"May I examine it?" She asked, her hand sitting perfectly still over the girl's back.

"Oh, sure." The doctor said.

Nate glared at Alice. He shook his head,"You know never mind. I think the main priority is to get the girl better."

Her hand dropped to the girl's back and she massaged it, her eyes half closed.  She healed this as well, leaving the bruise as it was.  She opened her eyes and said, "It doesn't feel like anything's wrong, but maybe you should X-ray it to be sure."

The doctor smiled. "But you can`t see nerve damage in an X-Ray. X-Rays only cover bones."

Leah chuckled.  "Silly me!  How do you detect nerve damage?"  She asked, really listening to the conversation outside.

Alice hissed at Nate. "Why do you care all of a sudden what happens to the girl?"

The doctor thought a moment. "Well, normally when there is nerve damage the patient has pain and swelling. But since she`s unconsious for the moment..."

((Grr! This is outside my limited knowledge about medical stuff!))

Nate looked directly at her through cold cruel eyes,"Sense i realized it was a mistake, like every other mistake i had done." He said through clenched teeth.

"And you`ve yet to make the biggest mistake in your life." Alice hissed. With that, she turned and went back inside to the girl.

Nate looked away and towards the menacing sky.What does that mean, he asked to himself. He stood there for what seemed forever and then he followed after to check on the girl. He didnt care if he got a couple of mean glares at Alice, all he wanted to know was if he did bad enough damage on the girl.

"I see... so we have to wait for her to wake up?" Leah asked, letting the doctor lead on this one.  She looked up as she saw Alice and Nate come in.  She smiled at both of them, winking at Nate.
