Stacey pushed Leah`s hand away. "No, the doctor will notice if he comes out here and I don`t have blood running down my neck. I`ve had worse than this, I can deal with stitches." She took a small step back."

Alice`s eyes narrowed reflectively. "You don`t know how much Stacey cares about you. You can`t see into her mind the way I can. You don`t know how it killed her to do what she did to you." She said coldly. "I can see it in the way she looks at you. When you left after she came in bleeding, she would have gladly ran to you, despite the danger it brought to her. You don`t know how much she wants to be here right now."

His eyes swelled up but he held back the tears. "She can't love me and she doesnt," he spatted with despite. "I dont get it why you are defending her," he whispered softer.

Leah sighed and left Stacey's wound as it was.  She could easily hear the conversation happening outside, though she tried not to listen.

Alice hissed at Nate. "I can stand up for her if I want to. You blame yourself for what she did, and you know she hates that. She would gladly let you drink from her, knowing it would kill her. She trusted you enough to let you stab her so she wouldn`t get possessed. She does love you, but both of you know it can`t be that way. The least you could do for her is not blame yourself." With that, Alice stood and started walking away from Nate.

He looked up slowly at her,"She cant blame herself for something she didnt do. Alice, how much do you know about me and Stacey?" He asked in a shooken up voice.

Alice sighed. "Niles left her and you gave her comfort. Soon the two of you were more than friends. Then she met Aiden and the same happened with him. She knew she would have to pick one of you, and she picked Aiden because you were a vampire. She never cared that you could kill her in an instant. She never cared that sometimes you wanted her blood more than anything else. She loved you more than anything else. In fact, it could be questionable on who she loves more, you or Aiden." She raised an eyebrow.

Nate stood up and looked at her through his dark hair,"I think you might know more about this than i do," he replied in an even tone.

Alice stopped walking, her back to Nate. "I doubt that. All I did was listen to what I was told." She replied, her voice silky.

"I loved her. I do love her, she should know that by now," he whispered.

Alice shook her head. "But she doesn`t know that. "She replied, than started walking away from him again, back to the doctor`s house.

Nate followed after her. "I think i should talk to her then," he whispered halfway to himself.

Alice stopped just outside the doctor`s door. She locked her eyes with his, her look serious. "Don`t do anything stupid." She mumbled, then opened the door. Walking in, she saw Stacey and Leah in front of the girl.

Nate nodded but didnt say anything as he followed in after her.

Stacey turned and saw Nate. She gave a small smile, but her hand invouluntarily flew to her neck, where blood still flowed.

"I`m coming back in now." The doctor warned, a little agitated. He walked in and looked around at everyone in the room. He gently grabbed Stacey`s wrist and pushed her into a chair. He pulled out a needle and a waxy thread. "Now hold still, you`re going to need a lot of stitches." He stuck the needle into her cheek and began stitching her skin together.

Nate closed his eyes as the smell hit his face. He stood strong and walked over by Stacey's side and held her hand with his cold hand. He didnt speak though, afraid that the smell would seep through and he would do something he would regret.
