It`s your band. If you don`t like it and don`t like being in it, then you should quit.
I love my band. I would never quit.

Well...consider the following:

I get yelled at constantly.
The instructor refuses to teach me how to read music. (I have a general Idea. I joined when I was 12 and am now 16. I can't read fluently.)
We play the same songs over and over each year.
We don't do any snazzy routines.
We have 14 people in the band or something like that. It was 50 something when I was younger.
Everyone quit because of the instructor though.
AND NO BAND CAMP!!!

Wow. That sounds like it sucks.

My band director is like a crazy uncle. =D
I can read music well and learn quickly.
We get new music often enough to keep us busy.
There are really annoying people in our band, but the cool people balance it out.
And we have band camp. At the end of the season, everyone who has perfect attendence gets to be in a drawing to pie our director in the face. =D =D =D =D =D
