Stacey shrugged. "I thought we were going down to the river?" She asked. "But if you don`t want to go, that`s fine."
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden shook his head.  "No, it's fine.  I want to see what this river looks like anyway."

Stacey nodded and finished off her drink. "Are you ready to go?" She asked softly.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;

Aiden

Aiden nodded his head, and stood up.  He walked over to Stacey and pulled her chair out for her.  "Do we have to drive there?"  He asked.

Stacey smiled. "It`s a nice walk, if you want to walk. But we can drive there, too." She said softly as she stood up.

Aiden

Aiden pushed the chair back in as she stood up.  "I like walking.  It's nice out."  He pointed out as he walked towards the door.  He took Stacey's hand and entwined his fingers with hers.

Stacey grinned. "Cool. We`ll just have to make sure we don`t forget my car here." She teased as they walked outside.

Aiden

Aiden smiled.  "Don't worry.  I'll remind you."  He promised as he opened the door for her as they walked out.  It was actually pretty warm out.

Stacey rolled her eyes and swung their hands back and forth. "What do you want to do later?" She asked as they walked down the street.

Aiden

Aiden shrugged his shoulders.  "Uhh...depends.  How long will it take to walk down to the river?"  He asked.

Stacey shrugged again. "Depends on how far we walk and how long we stay there. There are benches along the river where people often sit for a while. It just depends on what we do." She explained.

Aiden

Aiden squeezed her hand playfully.  "Hmm, I suppose we can decide when we get there."  He concluded as he walked where Stacey had shown him where the river was.

Stacey smiled. "Well, let`s go." She led him to the river. The water was clear and deep. Little fish were swimming here and there.

Aiden

Aiden followed her to where a small river was.  Bugs could be heard along with the chirping of some birds.  "This is pretty cool."  Aiden pointed out quietly.  He looked around for somewhere to sit.

Stacey smiled and nodded. They soon came upon a bench, but another couple was already sitting there. Stacey nodded to them as they passed.
