Mr. Stinky abused his power by killing people (muggles, mudbloods, muggle lovers, etc.).  Plus, he isn't that powerful, he has his death eaters do all of his work for him.  But I do know what you mean.
If Barty Crouch used his power to eliminate the dark side, then he didn't abuse his power.  He used it for a good cause.
Truly evil  people don't have rules.  They just do what they please.  Thats all.

I'm sure barty smells worse then Lord Volemort.  Lord V never killed for no reason, he destroyed lives (and I'm not saying that is a good thing) for his personal gain.  The reason he had the death eater, is because is powerful enough to control them, yes even 13 years later, they still fear him.

There is never a reason to kill someone.  If he kills for his own personal gain, then he is very very very low.
If Voldi is so powerful, why can't he do all of the killing himself?  Plus, genocide has yet to work in this world, muggle or wizarding.  Evil is always fought down, if only for a little while... okay, don't you find this little.. 'discusion' (arguement!  arguement!  You all know how much I love arguing!  ;D) pointless?  I'm getting tired of it.  How about you?

As to this arguement, I prefer to call it a debate.
Both of us have made good points.  Why not Slytherin.  After all, he was a Hogwarts founder, Maybe he was...uh... selective, but he deserves to be honored.

One last point.  Crouch also killed for his personal gain.  Like Lord Voli, he did not kill all by himself, he had his aurors do it.  I believe their are more similarities here between Crouch and Lord V. then even you realize.

Crouch's son dressed up as Professor Moody. Harry thought that on his map, Crouch was Barty Crouch senior and he didn't suspect Crouch's son to be doing the wrong thing. LOL! Um, I'll look it up... I can't find it. I don't think he was because when Harry was with Voldi he saw all the Death-eaters and there were no surprises except for Crabbe and Goyle. So I don't think that Crouch was a Death-eater 'cuz his name wasn't called by Voldi. But remember that he did serve Voldi. I don't think he wanted to commit to him though. ???

No, you are wrong, HPcoolest.  Barty Jr. was a death eater.  The only reason he wasn't in the circle, is because he wouldn't be able to apparate out of Hogwarts.  And since he was in Moody's body, he wouldn't have seen the Death Eaters sign glow on his arm because, well it wasn't his arm.  
    Remember when Lord V goes around the circle, and talks about the missing death eaters.  Well, when he gets to Crouch Jr. spot, he says that this is his most faithful supporter, and he is at Hogwarts.  Doesn't it make sense that a Death Earter would belong in a death Eater's circle????

    I hope I backed up my reasoning with enough facts.  You don't have to read them all if you don't want to, but I guess if you are reading this you have already done so.
