[Sky]

Seth pulled Alice close to him, her head near his chest. Near his heartbeat. He kissed the top of her head.
  "There's nothing that Can reverse it?" He asked. "Not even a potion to change you back?"

Seth could see Alice suffering and it broke him apart inside.

The vampire stiffened as Seth pulled her closer, but relaxed as he kissed her head. She carefully wrapped her arms around his waist and rested her ear over his heart. The pounding rhythm of the most improtant organ was comforting.

"No, and you know that." She answered gently. "Once you change, you`ll live until someone kills you." She opened her eyes. She had once asked an older vampire she knew to kill her, just because she saw no reason to keep "living" anymore. She hadn`t gone through with it, obviously, but she remebered that time now.

[Sky]

Once you change, you`ll live until someone kills you.


That was hard to think about. It had to be hard to kill a vampire.

"I still want to be with you." He said. "What say you?"

Alice thought about what he said, her eyes tracing the lines of the bricks of the closest building.

"I still want to be with you, too." She said finally. She didn`t add anything else, it would make things too complicated for now.

[Sky]

"Will you kiss me?" He asked. Seth wasn't sure what she would do. He was a jackass that one night.

Alice suddenly smiled and lifted her head to look into his eyes.

"Sometime." She said, almost all of her dazzling teeth showing.

[Sky]

Seth couldn't help but feel rejected but understood. He took her hand. "If we don't go now, I'm sure we'll be late for dancing."

Alice grimaced as the feeling of Seth`s rejection rippled over her, but she shook it off. He would have to deal with it if he wanted to stay with her. She wasn`t going to sugarcoat everything for him anymore, no matter how much she wanted to.

"Okay," She said cheerfully, "come on, it`s only about half a block farther."

"Okay lets go." Seth said as he took her hand. It tingled as the temperatures mixed.

As they walked, Alcie sloely dragged her thumb across the back of his hand, feeling the smooth texture of his skin.

"It`s just over here." She said, nodding down the street to a large building. A couple was entering now.

[Sky]

Seth smoothed his hand across his short and spikey hair, so used to having longer hair. He watched the couple enter the building. They were dressed very nicely.

((Sorry my typing is so bad, wow. I`m on Facebook and reading something at the same time, so I`m trying to rush through everything.))

They got close to the building and Alice stopped again, turning to face Seth.
"You sure you want to do this?" She asked. "Dancing isn`t that hard, and I won`t let you fall. I promise." She smiled coyly.

[Sky]

Seth laughed. "I'm not scared of falling." He squeezed her hand. "C,mon, lets do this." He nodded his head toward the building.

Alice laughed with Seth, her eyes twinjling again. She was happy here with him. She just wished it would stay that way.
She pulled him through the door and into the entrace foyer. The floor looked like white and black marble in a diamond pattern, and the walls were a rich red color, but it was mostly covered with paintings and tapestries.

Despite the fancy apppearance, the music drifting from the next room was pure pop. Alice squeezed Seth`s hand and started for the other room.

Seth listened to the song as he glanced around the room. It was catchy and had a pretty good beat. How hard could this be? He grinned as Alice, who seemed rather eager, started for the other room.  "Woah there! Slow down chica." He teased.
