--- In the aftermath of the Dark Lords Shadow was left nothing more than a lake of blood and body parts.  No child or teacher, for that matter, survived.  The school contained over four hundred students and faculty.

Harry put the paper down again, tears began to well up in his eyes, and he quickly blinked them away.
"I just can't stand it.  Why do the Muggles continue to collect in masses?  Don't they get it yet?  She's out to wipe them all off the face of the planet."  Harry finished as he sat heavily down on the chair he had recently stood from.

McGonnigals' face paled as well, she had only some idea the severity of Kiara's rage.  She didn't know how horrid her wrath had become.  McGonnigal hadn't been reading the papers, she hadn't wanted to know exactly what monster it was that they faced.
"Harry, have you heard from Bill yet?"  She asked quietly.
"Yes, I did.  He should be arriving this evening sometime.  Seems he finally agrees that this is where he should be."  Harry replied with the same quietness as Minerva.

Later that evening, Bill arrived as expected.  He came riding on his broom and entered the school with a very sullen look on his face.  Harry met him at the front door and they quickly walked to the meeting room where Professor Dumbledore and McGonnigal awaited their arrival.

"Dumbledore, McGonnigal."  Bill greeted them as he and Harry walked through the door.
"Bill, I am so glad to see you.  I'd ask how it goes but I already know."  McGonnigal replied to his less than friendly greeting.

Dumbledore continued to sit in his chair, looking more weathered and worn than Bill had ever seen him.  Bill gave Harry a worried look then turned a friendly gaze upon Dumbledore.
"I hope you brought with you a strong will and a mind to be put through some hard labor and mental slaps."  Dumbledore greeted Bill.  His manner seemingly less friendly than he'd ever been when talking to Cornelius Fudge.

Bill wasn't surprised, Harry had told him how Dumbledore had been acting.  He just wondered how much longer until he finally snapped.  Harry was right to call him here; he would need help when Dumbledore did finally go.

"Come on Bill, I'll show you to your room."  Harry said, with a sideways glance at Dumbledore.
"All right Harry, I'm right behind you."  Bill answered as he turned away from Dumbledore's less than friendly face.

"So, how long has he been like this Harry?"  Bill asked as they walked along the halls.
"He started to become less concerned about everything about a week before I wrote to you.  He had gone to the Ministry to talk with them and after he came back, he seemed to have changed."  Harry replied as he opened the door to one of the rooms opening up into the hall.  They walked in.

Bill and Harry looked around the room; it was a large room, with a bed along the far side and   a table in the middle with a chair positioned just off to the side.
"Where did this room come from?  I haven't ever seen it before."  Bill asked.

Harry smiled and looked at Bill with slight amusement.
"Dumbledore thinks that when Kiara took over, the school changed it's self.  Hid theory is that the room of requirements took over the entire school and now, it is suited more for hiding people away and housing them than like a school."  Harry replied.
"Interesting -- " Was all that Bill had to offer.

After Bill and set down his belongings and they had left the room, Harry suggested they go visit the Muggles, hidden in the depths of the school.
"You don't think that Dumbledore could have encountered Kiara on his way to or from the ministry, do you?"  Bill asked as they once again walked along the halls.
"I've thought about that and yes, I do think it's possible.  I just don't know how to approach –" He trailed off as they saw Dumbledore walking their way.

"Harry, Bill I need a word."  Dumbledore said as he came to a stop, just before them.
"Ok, what is it Professor?"  Harry asked.
"I'm leaving the school and I don't know if I'll be back, it would seem that I've become rather unstable and am now jeopardizing the whole place.  Listen closely, I don't know how much tome I have until I go to her so you must pay attention."  Dumbledore said as he looked between the two apprehensive faces of the wizards standing before him.
"My office is sealed, this –" He handed Harry a silver key.  "Will allow you entry, there are many things in there to help you and Fawlks, he needs well, never mind that, you know."  Then, with a flap of his cloak and a loud pop, Dumbledore was gone.

Harry and Bill looked between one another and stood in the hall in complete silence for a few minutes.
"Well, I guess that your theory about his meeting Kiara in a dark ally some place was correct, I'm just glad he was sane enough to realize it and let himself out of here."  Harry replied in a hushed voice.
"Ya, I only hope he didn't leave behind any surprises for the rest of us, you know what I mean Harry?"  Bill answered in the same hushed silence.

The two of them changed directions at this point and headed back to the meeting room where they had last seen McGonnigal.  They needed to ask her a few questions.

                            Chapter 7

Voldemort stood atop the parapet, looking out over the dappled grounds of the surrounding lands.  His mood was lees than jovial, he had just become aware of Kiara's powers, taking on yet another surge of energy.  He knew it wouldn't be long until she broke free of the small amount of control he currently held.

Lucius Malfoy stood in the shadows of his Lord and master, awaiting any order he may want carried out.  He knew Voldemorts thoughts were on Kiara, he also knew that he, Lucius Malfoy, would soon be given the chance to destroy the creature, he'd longed to destroy, from the moment he had laid eyes on her.  He remembered now, his first meeting with the young, self absorbed, know it all, teenager, she was.

Kiara had just arrived at the Malfoy Manor.  Lucius himself had just gained custody of the child after the demise of her mother by the hands of Voldemort. Cornelius Fudge, was so easily paid off back then, he wanted money and power just as much as any witch or wizard on the wanted list.  Only difference, Fudge was a politician so what he did or said was considered foolish or just plain doing his job.  This of course, made the first step in obtaining control over this young sorceress easy.

The moment Kiara stepped out of the car, Lucius hated her.  He could feel her strength even then and he wanted nothing more than to destroy her, that second.  The only thing that kept him from doing so, was Voldemort and his obsession with total control over the entire world. Kiara was the key to that success.  However, looking at things now, it didn't seem such a brilliant idea.  Kiara was so powerful that Voldemort himself, was afraid of her.  Lucius could feel it in him.  He had spent too many years at the side of his master to ignore the way Lord Voldemort acted around her.  He stepped lightly, this was not an action the Dark Lord took, no matter who you were.

"Hello, Kiara and welcome to your new home.  I hope you find your stay her, sufferable."  Lucius greeted her.

Kiara merely nodded her head and attempted, Lucius figured, a smile.  Then Draco took Kiara by the hand and led her away.  Lucius didn't know what they had spoke of during the hour long car ride here but he was certain it wasn't anything good about him.

Damion

getting even more interesting Kiara, thank you.

Friends are the ones who still love you even after you fart really loud in class.

Kiara Johnson

"What are you thinking about Lucius?  Your feelings are that of a man who has a score to settle."  Voldemort turned and looked upon him.
"Kiara, my Lord."  Lucius answered truthfully.
"Awe, yes, that would explain your current thoughts.  I understand.  Patience my old friend, patience.  Soon, you will be given the chance to destroy the girl."  Voldemort said, with a certain darkness in his tone.

Just at that moment, Voldemort turned back to the surrounding land and a dark, frightening grin began to cross his hideous features.
"It would seem, Lucius, that we have  an unwanted guest in our presence, look there."  He pointed to a tall figure walking out of the woods and towards the castle.  It was Albus Dumbledore.

Lucius followed his masters gaze and he too assumed a dark expression.
"Would you like for me to --"  However, he didn't finish that sentence.  Kiara had stepped out onto the field and stood, waiting for her old school master and godfather to approach.
"Lets watch, I am sure, Kiara will make this interesting enough."  Voldemort said, his dark grin becoming all the more apparent as he waited to see what she would do.

Dumbledore walked in a slow, steady pace toward his awaiting host.  He knew he wouldn't live to tell of his actions here today however, if Kiara was going to continue her rise to power, he didn't want to be around any longer to whiteness it.  Besides, he had one last fish to fry before he died and he, was standing up top the castle, watching behind the security of his master.

"So, Kiara, we meat again. I was hoping that we could perhaps have a chat?"  Dumbledore said in a less than friendly tone.

Kiara stood as still as a statue, the only thing that moved was her green eyes.  They followed Dumbledore's every move as if they were a part of him, and not her.
"A chat, simply a chat.  Why not, I am always willing to hear the requests of the people I am to kill.  Go ahead, state your case."  She said with no emotion or hint of hatred what so ever.  In fact, there seemed to Dumbledore, no clue as to her mood, he couldn't even read her.

"You know, your father intends to have you killed, don't you?  I was hoping for the chance to destroy your would-be murderer for you.  Then, I will allow you to kill me with no complaints."  He almost laughed at his own words.
"Oh, Lucius, I know that already, tell me something I do not know.  Why should I give you the pleasure of killing him?  I thought I would have some fun doing it my self, when to opportunity arose."  Kiara answered, still no sign of emotions emitting in either her words or her actions.  She still stood as if she were completely frozen, a statue that spoke is what she reminded Dumbledore of.

Dumbledore watched her for a moment before speaking.  He wanted to be sure she continued to show no emotion, he knew the moment she did, he was dead.  So long as he could keep her calm and not provoke her into action, he could accomplish the deceit, he wished for her to commit.  If she allowed him to destroy Lucius then Voldemort would soon follow and then, Harry and the rest would have more time to save the Muggles from his continued attacks.

"Because Kiara, I think you owe me this one last request.  Think of it as the dying wish of an old enemy.  You do still honor your victims, do you not?"  Dumbledore replied carefully.

Kiara then let a smile creep across her otherwise stone -like expression.
"I do, and I suppose, letting you fulfill this want of yours before you die, wouldn't be such a terrible thing.  It would give me more room to focus on other, more pressing matters.  I will grant you your wish."  She replied, then, she raised her  hand and suddenly, Lucius was standing before them, his look was greater than shocked, it was almost, astonished.
"What is this!  I demand to know what is going on here!"  Lucius said, once he regain a bit of his self dignity.
"It would seem, Lucius, that my new casualty, has a wish and I intend to honor that wish.  you see, unlike you, I do honor my victims."  Kiara replied in a snake-like hiss.

Kiara took a few steps back and then turned and walked away from the two wizards.
"Go ahead, play a game for me now.  I have so wanted to see the two of you battle it out.  It has been a child hood fantasy of mine to watch Dumbledore take you out, Lucius."  She began to laugh that bone chilling ice like laugh of hers.

Dumbledore had already drawn his wand, he waited for Lucius to do the same.  The battle was on and now, there was only one person who could end it, and she wasn't about to stop her entertainment.

Voldemort was at her side almost immediately.  His eyes, if possible, were even more dangerous than ever before.
"You have deceived me Kiara.  Stop this nonsense at once!  I command it."  He said in a rage only he could manage.

Kiara looked at him as Dumbledore delivered a nasty curse to Lucius.
"I, don't think I could do that father.  You see, they have already gotten into it too far, I would have to kill them both, if I did."  She answered with a note of victory in her snake-like tone.  "And I believe you have put a restriction on me that prevents me from killing Lucius, now however, if you would like to raise your hold on me, I think I could find a way around it."  She finished with a smirk.

Voldemort glared at her with such hatred she was sure he would explode if he didn't calm down.  This made her chuckle a bit.  Then, she turned and watched as Dumbledore unleashed such a powerful curse, he disarmed Lucius.  Then, with one final curse, Lucius lay dead on the surrounding grass.  A look of confusion written upon his death-gaze.

"Bravo, bravo.  I knew you had it in you, old man."  Kiara said to Dumbledore as she let a small smile brighten her features.

Voldemort reached for his wand, as Dumbledore had hoped.  Suddenly, Kiara spun around with great speed, only seen in the wind it's self.
"Put it away father.  I don't want you to harm him.  That would be my duty."  She growled, her eyes now equaling the red glow emitted by her father's.
"No, it's alright Kiara, I don't mind another duel.  Perhaps your father will slip up and become angry just the same as his dead disciple."  Dumbledore said, with a twinkle in his eye.

Voldemort looked between the two and then decided it unwise to attack Dumbledore when Kiara so wanted the opportunity to dispose of him.  He wasn't quite ready to loose control of her now, not with Lucius dead.

"There, much better, now --"  She turned once again to face Dumbledore, her manner just the same calm as it had been before the duel started.  "I do believe I have the pleasure of showing you just how strong I have become.  Don't worry, it wont hurt, much."  Kiara finished then, Dumbledore raised his wand and threw a feeble curse to her, Kiara caught it in her opened hand, closed her hand around it and it made a loud pop and left nothing more than a wisp of smoke than dissipated out from Kiara's closed hand..  The look upon her face now, was that of amusement.
"Did you really think to fight back?  How amusing."  She said to him with a certain wonderment.

Dumbledore stood his ground, although the spell he threw at her would have killed any normal living creature on the spot, he was not afraid.  He had excepted the fact that he'd die by  her hand and it was now time.

YES!  that's what I'm talkin about.  go on go on
No person should be made to feel "Put Down" by you: avoid hurting others hearts as you would avoid a deadly poison.

Kiara Johnson

Kiara looked into those once again, bright blue eyes and smiled.  As her smile faded, so did the life of Albus Dumbledore.  In what took no more than a few seconds, the once powerful wizard, lay on the ground, dead at the hands of his own goddaughter.

Kiara turned from him and walked back to the castle, not giving another glance back.  Voldemort stood in the same position, his manner undetermined.  He didn't know rather to be further frightened of his daughter now that she did indeed show no love for the man who once called her goddaughter, or to be proud, that she was his daughter.  Finally, he turned and walked after his daughter, as he did, he heard behind him a loud crackle, he turned just in time to see both, Dumbledore and Lucius, consumed in flames.

Max and Draco stood in the window of Kiara's apartment, looking out at what had happened below.  Max was trembling with anger at the demise of Albus Dumbledore, Draco, was smiling.
"So, she finally showed those old men what she was about.  I must remember to thank her for getting rid of that thorn in my side."  Draco said as he turned from the window.

Max turned on Draco, his manner extremely dangerous.  Suddenly, he leapt forward, grabbing the other by the front of his robes and threw him harshly against the wall.
"I can't believe you would stand there in front of me and talk about Dumbledore as if he were nothing. "  Max said in a low growl as he stepped closer to Draco as he rose from the floor.
"If I were you, Draco Malfoy, I would certainly be careful of my words."  Max stood face to face with Draco, although he had no wand, he was still just as dangerous had he had it.  Draco narrowed his eyes and clenched his fists, knowing any action he did, would only serve to anger Kiara further
"Your lucky I don't want to be punished for killing you. Max."  Draco replied to him between clenched teeth.  "You seem to forget your no longer armed, however, I still am."  He finished.

Max began to laugh the laugh of a mad man.  He then turned his back on Draco and strode over and sat, on the chair facing his enemy.  Draco watched him, confusion and anger both in his expression.
"You, Draco, seem to forget I don't care as to rather I live or die.  I would be happy if I could just kill you with my bear hands.  That, at least would rid the world of one more worthless, worm."  Max replied, still laughing.  Suddenly he stopped, then a look of the purest evil came over him as he realized the one thing he could say to anger Draco more than anything else.
"Your no different from your father.  You, like him, need to hang onto a higher power to make yourself feel good.  Your nothing but a leach."  With that said, Max stood and crossed to the window once again.
"You won't say those words to me again Max.  It would be the end for you if you did."  Draco said, standing still and shaking in rage.
"Think what you want Draco.  However, if you look at yourself closely, you'll find the truth in what I say."  Max replied, not turning to look at his enemy.

Just as Draco drew his wand, the door swung open and Kiara walked in.  She stopped and peered at the two of them.
"Put that thing away at once Draco Malfoy.  I will have no further games for today."  She said in an off hand manner.

Draco reluctantly put his wand back into his robe, giving both Kiara and Max an angry look then he started out the door but stopped, realizing if he left, he would be leaving Kiara and Max alone.  He turned and came back to sit across from the chair Kiara chose to sit at.  The three of them either stood or sat in Kiara's drawing room in silence for several hours.  None of them felt like speaking.  The males were too afraid of what they would let slip and Kiara, was simply glad to hear nothing more than silent.

Kiara Johnson

#72
Kiara finally stood and left the room.  As she left, she told Draco that he was to keep Max under watch, that Max was his responsibility.   Kiara headed now to her father's throne room.  She guessed that she should talk with him about earlier.

As she entered the throne room, she noted that Voldem0rt sat, as usual upon the high-backed throne.  His expression was amused as he watched her approach the dais.

"So, what is it you wish to talk with me about, Kiara.  Are you planning any further deceptions?  If so, I might remind you that you are still under my control and I want it made perfectly clear now, that you are to do exactly as I say, no more running about or leaving the castle with out my consent.  Is that clear."  He told her in a more or less regal tone.

Kiara stood before him with a calm, irritatingly, smug expression written on her face.
"I more or less figured this would be your reaction.  What's the problem father, you forced to attempt the killing of your loving daughter yourself now?  Did that mean old Dumbledore take away your plaything? "  She began to laugh.

Voldem0rt glared at her then the old mask of impenetrable calmness engulfed his expression once again and he looked upon her until she regained her composure once again.
"I want you to take my armies further West, it would seem that the Americans are getting into this battle sooner than I had expected.  I think it's time for them to learn a little lesson."  He said then dismissed her.

As Kiara began to walk away Voldem0rt stopped her once again.
"Oh, one further thing Kiara.  You will take Draco with you on this one.  It's about time he began earning his keep around here.  Also, Max must be either destroyed or you will take him too.  He's your problem, not mine."  He dissaperated and the conversation was over.
