"Your Mom?" Ginny asked, softly. She glanced at Lavander, then looked back at Shad.

Lavender scowled in Ginny's direction, and mumbled a short, "You're probably right,"  staring at her trembling finger with a detached amount of annoyance.
She listened to the conversation, her stomach aching, but not hungry, her body throbbing in a dull, almost numb sense. She seemed to listen a bit more intently, as the 'plot thickened'..

"Alright. I won't press unless it becomes and issue. by the way, this is Lavander." Ginny said, nodding at Lav.

Lavender tilted her head in interest of the new male, and then winked, her dazzling green eyes amused in a detached sense.

"Greetings, Shad."

Lavender watched him with a gentle curiosity, as if without truly understanding, even, knowing, of his emotions..

Ginny smirked at the two and looked up at the head table without moving her head.

Lavender frowned slightly, and again, tipped her head to the side, tapping her index finger {her uninjured index finger} to her full, smooth lips in thought.

"I don't recall..." she began, though she soon shrugged. "Perhaps. I have seen and tried to memorize many faces. I must get to know you again, however, if I had once known you."
