The Great and Terrible Beauty

((I know the title`s a book. Deal with it. Seth wanted.))

Alice paced through the grounds, her speed slow for a vampire. Her eyes were brilliant and shining witht he full moon as she had just fed that night. The wind pushed against her clothes, but the chill didn`t bother her. Her short dark hair was whipped around her face, but that didn`t really matter right now.

As she hit the tree line, she looked around with sweeping glances that caught everything. She could sense everything around ehr from the insects moving around in the trees to the low growls of other creatures that had best not be disturbed.

She sensed soemthing comforting; something familiar and somewhat forbidden. But of course that made it all the more enticing. She weaved trhoguh the trees, her beauty so great and terrible.

The white wolf sat beneath a tall oak tree, his ears perked as he listened to all of the noises of the night. He could feel her there, and his heart leapt with excitement. His love was, at this moment, making her way through the forest. She was close. He could smell her. Her scent was so lovely to him. He wasn't sure what it was exactly, but it was lovely. He changed into his human form and remained sitting on the ground, waiting. He glanced up at the moon.

Alice smiled to herself as she came upon Seth. "Hey." She said sweetly, gracefully floating down to the ground. She put her hand on the ground, palm up. Her eyes reflected the bright moonlight.

"Hello." He replied with a shiny smile. "How are you on this moon lit night?" He asked before getting up to greet her with a soft kiss.

Alice smiled and returned the kiss. "I`m doing great." She said truthfully, taking his hand. His skin felt hot where it touched hers and where it didn`t, heat seeped from his skin. "How are you?" She asked.

"Classes...more classes..." He groaned. He had a lot this semester. "Have you done anything exciting?" He asked her curiously. His hand touched her cool cheek with his naturally soft touch.
