Aiden

Aiden opened his eyes quickly and looked at Stacey.  The thought didn't even occur to him about telling her parents, even though they obviously would.  He took a deep breath and swallowed.

He shook his head.
"Your father is going to kill me."  He pointed out.

"No he won`t." Stacey assured, a sharp tone in his voice. "He`s an immortal, remember? And he kept that from me. He doesn`t have the right to be angry at you, and I`ll make sure he knows it." She put a hand against his chest, not meeting his eyes. A small smile started to form.

"But, um... my mom`s a different matter." The image of her mother`s strong anger, her tantrums about things... well, for some reason it made her smile. They were going to be okay, after all. She had the right to smile.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden flipped his hair out of his eyes and tilted his head curiously to one side.  He looked down at Stacey and pressed his lips into a straight line.

"What will your mom say?"  He asked, noticing her smile and odd expression.

((Shorrttt))

Stacey shrugged and twined her fingers through his.

"Who knows, but I can almost guartanee that it`ll be something completely dramatic and over the top." She replied.

((Ditto.))
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"
FOREVER WILL NEVER BE LONG ENOUGH.
"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;
I guess to love another person is to see the face of God."

Aiden

Aiden nodded, the edge of his lip twitched as he thought real hard.  He flipped his dark hair out of his dark eyes and turned to look at Stacey again, his expression thoughtful.

"Do you think she'll be angry, upset, sad?  What?"  He asked.

Stacey shrugged again, watching Aiden carefully.

"Who knows? You`ve met my mom; you know how unpredictable she can be." She explained, a little hint a laughter in her eyes. Her mother really was a drama queen. You never knew what might come from her, but you could count on the fact that`d it be explosive.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

Aiden

Aiden sighed, wishing he knew what she'd say. His uncle wouldn't mind either way.  He was a good man but wasn't very much involved in Aiden's business and life as of late.  He knew not much of a reaction would come at all.

"Good point.  I guess we'll have to see when the time comes."  He pointed out, raising his eyebrow for a moment.

((Should we just skip to the morning of the day they tell her mom? If so, you can start it.))

Aiden

((Mhmm.  I don't know how to start it though but you cant go ahead.)) =P

Stacey stood just outside the front door, her blue-grey eyes staring off into nothing. Her hands were clenched at the edges of her white and grey jacket. Her brown hair blew around her face.

She was waiting for Aiden. They were leaving for her mom`s house, and she wasn`t really all that excited about it. She was worried at what her mother would say, how she would react. She felt a lot better than she had yesterday, but for some reason she felt like her stomach had jumpung into her throat.

"Aiden, are you ready?" She asked softly, her eyes not moving.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

Aiden

Aiden walked into the kitchen, towards the refrigerator as he grabbed a bottle of water from one of the shelves.  He tossed it to his other hand as he fixed the sleeve of his shirt.  He turned to Stacey as he walked towards the front door.

Aiden leaned forward, and have Stacey a light kiss on the cheek before grabbing the door handle to close the door.  However, he paused a moment and kept the door cracked just a bit.

"Yeah I'm ready. Are you?"  He asked, eyeing her carefully.
  He wanted to make sure she was extremely certain about this.

Stacey nodded slowly, turning to face him.

"Yeah. I grabbed some asprin, too, in case my headahce comes back." She reached out her hand and laced her fingers between his. "Are you sure you`re up for this." She added, lowering her voice. She scanned the street slowly. Her wide eyes took in all of her surroundings in a glance.

She was scared. She didn`t know what to tell her mom. How would she react? Would she be angry? Happy? Mortified? Would she be mad at Aiden, or Stacey? There were just too many questions she couldn`t answer, and she was nervous.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;

Aiden

Aiden took her hand in how own, fitting his fingers perfectly in between hers like a puzzle peice.  He gave her a light smile as he look into her eyes, his own being a light brown.

Aiden nodded slowly.  He followed her gaze to the street for a quick moment before looking back at Stacey.  He slowly lifted his other hand to move his dark hair out of his eyes to see.
"Yeah, I'm ready.  We need to do this and now is better than later."  Aiden pointed out seriously.
He gave her hand a light squeeze.

Stacey returned squeeze and leaned closer to him, turning her eyes towards the street again. She could tell that none of her neighbors were looking out their windows or anything, so they wouldn`t see the two teenagers disappear.

((By the way, Stacey`s eighteen now. =P ))

With a sudden movement they were twisted away from the house and were pulled to another place. It all happened in a second and Aiden and Stacey stood outside Carrie`s house.

"What are we going to tell her?" Stacey asked, squeezing Aiden`s hand.
"Get out of my way! I'm a free spirit!"

"And now I understand a phrase I once thought odd;

Aiden

Aiden stood still as they teleported to her parent's house.  He swallowed, and looked up at the large, familiar house.  Many different memories flashed in his mind, knowing what was going to happen in a few minutes would be part of them.

Aiden turned to Stacey, looking at her eyes.
"I'm not sure.  Want me to be the one to say it?"
