First off, let me welcome you both tot hte Harry Potter Fan Forum(HPFF)  now, on to the question at hand.....

If, like mine, you are looking to put your own art-work into you Avatar spot, it must come off the internet.   You copoy it's url and paste it to the spot you all are talking about ans...wallla!  You have your pic.  It can not be a huge one or the sight won't except it so be sure to use a small pic.   ;)
