Kiara was all the way to the front door before it finaly stopped hurting her, Ron was right behind.  "You ok?"  he asked.  "No, just when I was starting to have fun ---"  She started to cry.  "Why won't he just leave me alone?"
"Come here."  Ron put his arms around her.  "Everything will be fine, you;ll see.  He can't make you do anything you truly don't want to do, as long as I'm around.  You can be assured of that."  Draco came through the door, saw them, started to get angry then relized Kiara was crying.  He back quietly out the door and listend.  "Now, I want you to stop crying and go find Draco.  He should be coming through those doors anytime now.  You two need to spend more time together, go."  Kiara nodded ans, as she stepped away from Ron, Draco walked back in.  He looked at Kiara then to Ron, "Thanks for taking care of her while I was away, Weasley.  What happened.  Ron explained.  "I just got scared again, that's all.  See you later Ron."  Kiara and Draco walked off.

Ron had just confirmed what Kiarahad told him the other night and, Draco wasn't sure how to take it.  Did Kiara need some one to keep pushinmg her towards him?  He wasn't sure, maybe he was just paranoid.

(Chapter 10  The meeting.  (I better not get hate mail after this.  lol)

It was two weeks until Spring break.  Every one was jumpy.  They all knew somthing big was about to happen but, had no idea when.  Harry and Kiara were especialy bad off.  All they knew was that, Kiara was going to have to make a choice as to rather or not she was going to kill her brother.  Ofcourse, Kiara would never do anything like that on her own but, They knew that Voldamort and the Dark Fate would have their say in it, as well.

Kiara and Harry were sitting on the bench infront of the lake.  "I just won't let him make me do it and that's that."  Kiara was saying.  "Don't dwell on it Kiara.  I trust you  You don't have to convince me, I trust you --"  He paused an smiled irronicly.  "with my life."  Kiara gave a half laugh.  "Ya, I guess you relly don't have a choice, do you."  Harry looked at her and smiled.  "I'm just glad it's you who the Fate chose and not, shall we say---Max."  Kiara laughed.  "Ya, I see your point.  At least with me, you have a chance."  They had both finally come to turms with what was going to enevitably happen.  Harry had told Kiara that he wouldn't blame her, either way.  Kiara had resolved not, to make her father proud.

Ron was watching Harry and Kiara.  "They've spent every possible waking moment together."  Draco said as he walked up behind Ron.  "I know, it's almost as if they are saying a long good-bye, or somthing.  The whole school feels it, can't you?"  Ron replied, with out taking his eyes off the two.  "Yes, Weasley, It's almost as if Kiara has extended her feelings to every noock and cranny in this school.  You can't go anywere and not have a feeling of dread, hanging over your head.  I guess, that's her way of dealing with the inevitable."  Draco walked away again.  Ron watched him leave.  "No Malfoy, nothing is inevitable  if you choose to change it."  He said quietly after him.  Then, Ron walked back inside too.  Watching his best friend and the girl he loved, suffering like that was more than he could handle.  To make matters worse, there wasn't a thing he could do about it.

One week before Spring break and the atmosphere in the school had only gotten worse.  By now, every one knew what was impending.  Kiara's way of dealing with the situation, didn't help, at all.  People would sometimes just start crying for no reason what so ever and, best friends would fight for no reason.  The onl;y person, including the teachers and staff, that was no effected, was Max.  He, for one reason or another was imuned to Kiara's hold over the school.  Max, ofcourse, took total advantage of the situation.  He had been the cause of many fights that had occured.  He was having fun with it.

"Today, is the day.  I start with Kiara."  he told himself as he smiled darkly, twisting the new ring he had accuired some time after the Hollidays.  There was only one day left before all the kids when thome for Spring Break.  Max decided to wait until classes were out then, he would get under way with his plan.

Max was in the common room talking with Pansy.  "I'm sorry Pansy, things just arn't working out."  He had broken up with her.  Then when she finished yelling, he left the room.

Max found Draco in the hallway.  "Draco, Kiara's looking for you, she's in the common room."  He lied.  Draco hurried off to meet Kaira.  Max smiled.  "Now, to find Kaira."  He walked away whistling.  Making a comment her or there to stir more peopl up.  He was having great fun.

Draco walked into the common room and saw Pansy crying.  "What's wrong?"  he asked.  Pansy proceded to tell him.  "Oh, come here."  Draco hugged her.  Then, just as he was giving her a kiss on the forehead, Kiara walked through the door....

Now, normaly, somthing like this wouldn't have even fazed Kiara but, , as Max had planned, she was so tightly wound up that, at the sight of Draco holding his ex-girlfriend like that, she snapped.

In that first, split second of anger and, with the hold she had over the school, all he11 broke out.  Kiara turned on Pansy and easily flung her accross the room, knocking her out.  Then, she turned to Draco who, looked just as angry as she did.  Everyone, teachers included, were at each others throats.  No one noticed Max, slip in behind Kiara and stunn, both her and, Draco.  Then, he tied bothe thier hands to a small, golden, object, there was a flash and Kiara and Draco were gone.  "That's all five of them.  Voldamort will be pleased."  Max said out loud then, he too, dissapeered.

Dumbledore snapped out of his particulary bada mood and imediately went to the Slytherin Common room, looking for his goddaughter.  On the way down, he noticed polenty of students heading towards the hospital ing.  He ran into McGonnigal on his way and had her go check on Harry.

"I called you all together because, we seem to have some missing students."  Dumbledore addressed his staff.  "Who exactely are missing,?"  asked Snape.  Dumble took a deep breath.  "Max, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Harry and Kiara. They are nowere on the grounds.  I'm afraid the worst has happend.  I believe, they are in the company of Voldamort.  I have contacted their parents and the Ministry.  I hope, we can find them before, it's too late."

(Ok heres more.  I know I should wait for others to catch up but it's all coming to a boil so... for those of you who are keeping up...here it goes, please, no hate mail.)

Kiara woke up, she was laying on the ground, her hands fully bound.  She was confused as to her wereabouts.  The last thing she rememberd was being really angry, about somthing, she couldn't even remember.  It was pitch black and she couldn't see a thing.  "I see you've finally decided to wake, good, I can use the company."  It was Max's voice.  Kiara turned, as best she could towards his voice.  "What's going on?  Untie me."  She asked.  "I'm afraid I can't do that just yet, Kiara.  You see, your father hasn't shown up to take us home yet and until he does, you can't be trusted."  Max replied, sounding pleased with himself.  Kiara's heart sank, she had to ask.  "Who else is here?"  Silence.  Max smiled at the thought of what he had done.  "They are all here, Kiara.  Harry, Draco, Hermione and yes, Ron too.  We will have a grand time the bunch of us, just wait.  You and I we'll make your father proud."  Max laughed as he heard her gasp.  Kiara had no idea that Ron and Hermione would be a part of this and, she didn't like it, at all.  "Don't worry, you'll see them all soon enough.  Oh, and Draco, he's actually at home so, no worries there, princes."

Draco woke up in his bed.  His father was standing over him with a rather evil grin on his face.  "What, what happend?  Were's Kaira?"  Draco asked.  Lucius grinned.  "No worries son, she's with her father by now, where she belongs.  Get up, we're leaving to meet them shortly."  Draco got out of bed, wincing at the pounding in his head, he followed his father down to the stables.  "Where --"  Lucius cut him off.  "You'll see, get one of the Dragonites and follow Maestroe and I."  Draco had never been to the underground city but, his father had told him of it and so had Kiara.  He guessed, that was their destination.

They flew West for nearly thirty minutes then, landed in a clearing in the woods.  They dismounted and walked into the cave.  "Stay close Draco, talk and look at no one."  Lucius stated.  He and Draco made the journey through the cave and in to the city.

Harry, Ron and Hermione were all in a vacant room which, Harry rememberd.  They weren't bound but were all dissarmed.  They tried to escape but it was of no use.  They weren't going any were.  "Why did they bring you two?  This is supposed to be between Kiara and myself.  Why put you in danger too?"  Harry was yelling at no one inparticular.  He was just frustrated that now, not only him but, his best friend and the girl he loved were both in this place too.  Hermione put her hand on Harry's arm.  "Maybe, we aren't in any danger, Harry.  Maybe, we need to be here for some other reason.  Trust in the Fates to decide."  she said quietly.  Harry relaxed, and even managed a half smile.  "Maybe, your right, maybe---"  he trailed off.

Kiara was now in her room.  The same one she stayed in during her last, visit.  She paced the floor nervously.  "Hello, Kiara."  She jumped.  Voldamort looked down at her with a very dark expresion.  "I wont do it, father."  Kiara said automaticly, without thinking.  "Have you forgotten all I have tought you, already?"  He replied in a rather mennacing tone.  Kiara whent to her knees and bowed her head.  "I'm sorry father, please, forgive my insolance."  She replied in a trembling voice, knowing, all the while it was of no use, she had already made her statement.  "Crucio!"  He yelled, hitting her with his full force.  The blow from the spell was so powerfull it knocked her accross the room.  She hit the floor, in to much pain to even scream out.  Voldamort just smiled as he watched her convules in agony.  "If you think that witch I gave you had power, you should try this on some one like yourself, sometime."  Voldamort laughed at her.  Kiara, of course, didn't answer....
***********************************

"You can see her now, young Malfoy."  Voldamort said as he left the room.  Draco quickly walked in.  Kiara was sitting at her table, eating dinner.  "Sit down, have somthing to eat, Draco."  she said to him.  Draco knew she had reverted back.  He sat down accross from her, saddly.  "Why the long face?  You should be happy for my father.  He's gone through great trouble to bring me back to him."  Kiara said.  Draco put on a smile.  "I am Kiara, just not for us."  Draco replied.  "What difference does it make about us?  There really wasn't any, us, left, you know.  We'll still marry, of course.  It is my fathers wish.  Maybe, with time, we can regain that wich you --- we, lost."  They ate in silence.  Draco more picking at his food than eating it.  Kiara got up, kissed Draco on the cheek and went and layed down.  "I love you Draco."  she said as she slipped off to sleep.  Draco went over and layed next to her.  "I love you too."  he soon fell asleep as well.

Harry, Ron and Hermione hadn't seen any one for three days now.  Their food, yes, they were fed, was apperated to them.  "What are they waiting for?"  Hermione said.  She knew the answer to her question.  She, like the other two knew they were waiting until Voldamort had Kiara totaly on the dark side again.  Suddenly, the door flew open.  Kiara, followed by, Voldamort and Max, came walking in.  "So, you were behind this the whole time, Max.  I should have known.  Only a worm, such as yourself, would help, him, out."  Ron said through gritted teeth at the sight of Max, walking next to Kiara.  Voldamort watched patiently.  His time was near, let the children bicker.  What was it to him.  "Yes, Weasley.  I was behind it from the very beginning.  It was Lord Voldamort who got me the transfer in the first place.  The only reason you all, including Kiara, were made to believe I had nothing to do with Lord Voldamort, was to ensure, that if, Kiara had been turned back, my cover would not have been blown.  It's a good thing too.  That slime, Malfoy, couldn't bring her back but you ---"  Max narrowed his eyes at Ron  "--- you, seem to have a hold on her, for some reason.  I'll enjoy, killing you."  Max finished with a dark smile.  "Why Hermione!  What has she done to have you take her?"  Harry asked of his father.  Voldamort chuckled.  "She, my son, is my insurance that you go through with it.  She will be, unharmed, if you cooperate."  Harry narrowed his eyes.  "If I cooperate, as if I have a choice in the matter.  How can I trust, she will be unharmed."  Kiara stepped forward.  "The fate won't allow any harm to come to her, Harry.  She'll be safe, trust me."  She said in a nondiscript tone.  Harry fell silent.  He wasn't sure and didn't want to get his hopes up but, Her last words, Trust me.  ran through his mind and gave him hope.

Several Deatheaters filed into the room and collected their prisoners.  They took them out of the room and then through the city and eventually above ground, were they were tied to poles.  Try as they might, the three couldn't even budge.  Harry was seperate from his friends.  They were in a clearing, a bon-fire lit the circle of Deatheaters, casting an orange-red glow over everything.  There was no escaping.  Even if they had managed to escape their bonds, they waouldn't have gone two stepps before they were either recaptured or, killed.

Draco walked up and stood next to Ron and Hermione, he said nothing.  Kiara, Max and Voldamort stepped into the light of the fire.  Shadows played accross Kiaras dark face.  "Are you ready, Harry?"  She asked calmly.  "Yes, Kiara, I'm ready."  he replied.  As soon as he utterd those words, his bindings unraveld to free him.  Harry stepped forward a few paces then, stopped.  Lucius, who was standing next to Voldamort now, smiled.  Kiara began to walk towards Harry, slowly.  "Don't do it Kiara!!"  Hermione cried.  Kiara payed no attention.  Then, after looking to his father than back to Kiara, "I love you."  Draco told her.  Kiara looked at him but kept moving.  Ron watched while Hermione pleaded with Kiara to stop.  Voldamort laughed.  "It will do you no good, Muddblood.  She is mine to control, no one but me can stop her now."  he said in a triumphant voice.  Ron gave Draco an opologetic look.  "I love you Kiara, please, listen, I won't give up, I love you."  Kiara's stepps, faulterd, she turned to look at Ron, closed her eyes then turned back towards harry before opening them again.  When she did, a teer ran down her cheek.  No one, but Harry, saw.  Kiara continued until she reach Harry.  Then, taking his head in her left hand and placing her right hand oin his chest, she brought him forward and placed her cheek against his.  "I won't let anything happen to them Harry.  Trust me."  She straightend up.  Harry caught her eyes.  "I trust you Kiara, with my life."  Harry collapsed on to the ground.  Hermione screamed.  Kiara knelt beside Harry, she was crying.

All of a sudden, people started comming out of the woods.  Max noticed they were surrounded by Aurors.  He reach quickly into his cloak and pulled out a dagger.  He smiled whickedly at Ron and threw it.  Draco saw what was going on.  He looked at Ron then to Kiara who, was unaware.  He looked back to Ron again, "I hate you Weasley, take care of her."  Draco dove.  "NNNOOOO!!!"  Hermione screamed.  Kiara jerked herself around, just in time to see Draco hit the ground.  She followed Hermione's gaze to Max.  Kiara looked at Draco then back to Max.  Max backed away from her deadly gaze.  Kiara reached out with her will and held him tight.  "I'll deal with you later.  if he dies --- "  Kiara ran over to were Draco lay on the ground.  All six inches of the dagger imbeded in his chest.  Kiara layed his head on her lap.  She felt a sudden, hard tug at her bind on Max.  She turned to see Lucius grabb him and together, they dissaperated.  She turned her attention back to Draco.  The fight continued around them, she didn't notice.  "No, Draco, no, no, no.  I can't fix this.  Harry's was different.  No, no, ---" Draco smiled.  "I love you Kiara.  Kiss me."  Kiara bent down and kissed him, as she did, he dissaperated.

A stray spell whizzed past Kaira's head.  She flung her hand up and cast a sheild around the small group.  Then, she untied Ron and Hermione who, imeadiatly ran over to Harry.  Kiara stood then, and turned around.  "Get away from him"  she gasped.  Ron and Hermione backed away.  Kiara went and knelt beside Harry, placing her hand on his chest.  After what seemed an eternity, Harry opened his eyes and smiled.  "I knew I could trust you.  I --"  he trailed off at the expresion an her face.  "I need, to find Draco."  Kiara said flattly.  She stood back up and walked off into the darkness.  Ron helped Harry to his feet and quickly explained what had transpired.  "I think, I know were she's off to.  Hermione, go, get Dumbledore at meet us at the Malfoy mannor."  Harry said.  Hermione nodded and dissaperated.  Ron and Harry who, haddn't quite got the knack of doing that yet, went after Kiara.

*Raises Hand* Kiara, I have a question. How many times do I die in this story?
